Dude. Are you awake? It's 11 PM and I literally cannot sleep because of Pasta Panic. Remember that game I told you about, the one where someone said it was all "Grab your weapon and shoot all the incoming monsters! Trallela is the strongest monster, and you must defeat it"? That description is so, so wrong. It's like calling pizza "bread with toppings." Technically true, but completely misses the point.
Honestly, I thought it was gonna be some dumb shooter, but it's *not*. At all. You play as this tiny chef, Chef Alfredo, and the "monsters" are actually these giant, sentient pasta dishes that have come alive in the kitchen. Like, there's a huge, grumpy lasagna called Trallela that just blocks everything, and these little spaghetti strands that chase you if they see you. Your "weapon" is a rolling pin, but you don't shoot with it. You use it to, like, roll out little dough balls to distract them, or push pots and pans to make noise and lure them away.
The first time I played, I was so confused. I kept trying to whack the Meatball Marauders, and they just flattened me. Then I realized it's all about *sneaking* and *puzzles*. Like, there was this one part where I had to get past a sleeping Cannelloni Colossus, and I figured out if I rolled a breadstick across the floor, it would make a tiny *clink* sound that woke up a nearby Gnocchi Guardian instead, sending him on a wild goose chase. That felt so clever, I actually cheered out loud.
I'm not usually into stealth games, but this one is just so charming and weird. It makes you feel like your really there, trying to outsmart these big, goofy food monsters. I meant to play for like, 30 minutes, and next thing I know, it's two hours later and I'm still trying to figure out how to get past the Gelato Golem without melting it. I was literally thinking about it while making coffee this morning.
It's fun. Really, really fun. You actually want to keep playing because figuring out how to get past each new pasta monster is like a little victory. You have to try it. I already told my cousin Leo he needs to get it. Your gonna love it, trust me.
